DJI FlightHub 2: The Future of Drone Operations in Thailand

Introduction
DJI FlightHub 2 has been updated with significant enhancements. It now supports Zenmuse L3, features an Auto Dispatch system, improved intelligent algorithms, and powerful cloud-based 3D modeling capabilities.
These updates are designed to help teams manage complex drone operations more efficiently. They cover public safety tasks, emergency response, inspections, and smart city management.
Zenmuse L3 Support
DJI FlightHub 2 now supports cloud-based flight path planning for Zenmuse L3. Users can generate Point Cloud data reports. They can plan flight missions for the DJI Matrice 400 equipped with Zenmuse L3 and sync missions directly to the Pilot 2 app.
Additionally, users can upload sample Point Cloud files from Zenmuse L3 via Pilot 2 for quick data syncing. This allows for immediate preliminary results from missions.

Automated External System Connection: Trigger-Based Workflow
DJI FlightHub 2 introduces a Trigger-based Workflow system. Users can set up and connect operational logic through a Visual Interface without complex coding. This system allows external systems to automatically command drone missions when predefined events occur. It supports real-time alerts, scheduling, and automated responses. This is ideal for urban security, emergency response, and routine inspections.

Intelligent Algorithms Enhance Inspection Efficiency
Improved Patrol Flight Paths
The patrol flight paths now support different focal length selections. This increases object recognition accuracy at various altitudes and situations. Additionally, Trigger Actions for spotlights and speakers have been added, expanding the capabilities of automated operations.
DJI FlightHub 2 supports both DJI's and third-party infrared target recognition algorithms. This helps teams conduct inspections more effectively.

Enhanced Onboard Algorithms
The onboard algorithms now support Object Segmentation. This allows for more precise identification and differentiation of targets in complex environments. It broadens the scope of applications and improves object recognition accuracy across various scenarios. Additional capabilities are accessible through the Intelligent Computing Open Platform.
Cloud-Based Modeling: Supporting 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS)
The new version of DJI FlightHub 2 supports cloud-based 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS) modeling. Users can upload 3DGS results generated locally and share 3DGS models online for collaborative viewing.

Rapid Modeling — Quick Model Creation
During missions, drones can send real-time thumbnail images. Once completed, the system will automatically begin model creation. This feature meets the demand for rapid modeling in emergency situations. Up to 500 thumbnail images can be transformed into a 3D model in about five minutes.
Note: Rapid Modeling is currently supported only for manually controlled drones and is not available for the DJI Dock Series.

Easy Model Sharing
Photogrammetry and 3DGS models can be shared online. Recipients can view the models immediately by scanning a QR Code with their mobile device or tablet, without needing to log in. This facilitates quick and efficient data sharing.
Modeling API Now Available
DJI FlightHub 2 OpenAPI has added a Modeling API. This allows external systems to quickly connect to modeling capabilities. The existing DJI Terra API will be phased out in the future, but users currently testing it will not be affected.
Simplified Data Analysis and Sharing
Point Measure — Coordinate Measurement from Models
DJI FlightHub 2 supports direct point measurement on models. Users can extract WGS84 coordinates from any point on the model's surface, including latitude, longitude, ellipsoidal height, and altitude.

Share Analysis Results with Analyzer
Results from the Analyzer can be shared with a single click. Recipients can view the Media Timeline of the model, measurement results, and analysis reports by scanning a QR Code without needing to log in.

Airspace Safety and Regulatory Compliance
The operational area management system has been upgraded to "Airspace Safety." It consists of three main modules: Custom Flight Zones, Terrain & Obstacle Data, and Airspace Warnings. This enhances the safety and compliance of drone operations.

Real-Time Flight Data Reporting
Users can report real-time flight data to civil aviation authorities or local airspace management providers via DJI FlightHub 2. This supports regulatory compliance and enhances airspace management efficiency.

Improvements for On-Premises Systems
Convert Annotations to Measurement Areas and Patrol Routes
Users can convert annotations on custom or imported maps into mission zones, patrol route regions, or measurement boundaries in the Analyzer. This reduces manual boundary creation and aligns planning with accurate analysis.

DJI FlightHub Sync — New Event API
A new Event API has been added to DJI FlightHub Sync. This expands the cloud-based Webhook capabilities, enabling real-time business event notifications to external platforms. It supports efficient cross-system communication.
DJI FlightHub 2 On-Premises V1.4
DJI FlightHub 2 On-Premises has been updated to V1.4, aligning features with the latest Public Cloud version. It includes a new user-friendly Visual Backend management interface. Additional improvements include better support for complex network environments and the removal of the 20-stream Relay Streaming limitation. Users can customize the number of streams based on server performance to accommodate large-scale operations.
